Today is our first game review. Do you like MMORPGs but don't like the whole dealing with getting your account cracked, issues with connections, the company going under, or other players? Well there is a game, actually a series, actually a series of series that give you all of the wonderments of exploring a almost endless combination of areas, getting weapons, armor, potions, selling, trading, lvling up, defeating monsters, a sweet storyline, grouping with others and even emailing them while not being online and being the only actual person involved. I am of course talking about the .hack series which simulates playing a MMORPG game. It is part of a greater series that contains anime and magna that all tell a part of an over all story that takes place on a online game. It really is an interesting concept and adds to the storyline as well as proving nice but admittly occasionally tedious game play. There are times I find myself doing some serious grinding as I try to get gear and lvls powerful enough for some bosses, but it does a good job of breaking up the tedium in between those evens with cut scence and semi interactive emails where you choose from a series of emails to give to each virtual person, that affects what they email back which affcts your next list as well as how they relate to you. You can use, lose, sell or give weapons and armor to venders and your friends. Giving it to your friends improve your relationships and makes them better at helping you in battles. Like any real MMORPGs you can group with people. Just call on the ones you want, and like any real MMORPGs you will find they are not all available all the time They have their own lives. This is not so much a game but a game of a game and its quite good. I strongly suggest renting it! Or buying.
