IJ STUDIOS TIEMAN'S SHUTINS ADVENTURE!!!
Well I made a small stop to the Tiemen's Shutins, and have some pictures of it. At some point I was attacked by a giant prehistoric reptile and barely got back alive in order to show these amazing pictures...Enjoy.

Look at this tree, someone or something at some point in time, twisted it into a knot. They must have mistaken it for a pretzel. Saddly I couldn't straighten it out.

Down by the base of the tree a colony of antlions have made their death traps! Luckily I am not an aunt.

Here are the shutins, you can just barely see it here!
But to get there we have to brave the forest!

I'm confused on what to do here.

For some reason I can not see the forest from these.

It's a jungle out there!
There that wasn't so bad.

Rocks.

Mmm primordial soup!

Look a tiny frog! Actually there were hundreds of them! You couldn't take a step without sending a cloud of them jumping in all directions!

Lots of rocks here. You could go across the river jumping from one to the other.

Another tiny frog!

A submerged stone. Is the river half empty or half full?

Here is the stream of consciousness.

As you can see it is neither wide nor deep.

Water, source of all life?

A hard place. Stay away from being caught between one of these and a rock.

A tranquil pool seems to not have heard about that.

The rock.

You can see the abrupt change from forest to rocks here.

Must know someth'n but just says noth'n.

Just keeps on rolling along.

Mmm doesn't this look good?

The battlefeild of the ongoing war between wood and rock.

It got so hot that even the sun decided to take a dip.

Fly my lovely fly!

Look at this!

Pretty neat?
Well after awhile it was time to head back through the forest. It probably would be an uneventful like the first time around.

Oh no it's a hungry tree! Fortunatly it was too busy eating an old pail to pose any troubles.

Sure this mushroom may seem harmless, but many can be dangerous so it's best to stay away.

No one ever suspects the butterfly!

A pretty flower.

More flowers.

The beast from yucca flats!

What could be more dangerous then rusty old wire?

Who knows what else may be out here in the woods?

Ahh Pods! They probably have people in them!

Should be safe here.

The top of a tall tree.

The bottom of a tall tree. I should be going in case it falls.

Just as i saw the edge of the woods and knew I was almost out of it I was viscously attacked by a monstrous reptile!
It was touch and go for a while there. I thought I was a gonner when it swollowed me. Well I won't bore you recapping how I escaped and managed to bring you back these photos. Needless to say it was quite an experience, one worthy of an epic tale like "Homer's Odyssey", "Moby Dick", or "Hop on Pop".
